Dance Grosse Ile was formed in early 1997 by Gina Dudash with the intent of bringing quality dance education into the public sector. Each year the program has grown tremendously and the studio's reputation speaks for itself. Some of the ballet students have been selected to attend such prestigious schools as Blue Lake Fine Arts Academy, School of Ballet Chicago, American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet and Milwaukee Ballet.

Dance Grosse Ile has enjoyed taking part in special performances at Walt Disney World, Festival of Trees, Mackinaw Island and several local performances including their annual Nutcracker Ballet, Cinderella and the Renaissance Center Christmas Festival.

Dance Grosse Ile brings in the world renowned guest teachers to teach at the school. As always, they will bring in guest teachers throughout the year to work with all levels at the school in ballet, tap, theatre and jazz.
