Your toddler will love this calss. Especially formulated for Mommy and Me... or even Daddy, Grandma or sitter. Use of age appropriate curriculum such as galloping, marching, clapping, using song, dance, and instruments. This class performs in the Annual June Concert (without mommy of course) and we always steal the show! |

Pre-Dance 3 & 4yrs
A basic introduction into three disiplines... ballet, tap, jazz. Children will learn actual terminology and basic steps. This class will encourage your child's song and dance. |

Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all forms of dance including figure skating and gymnastics. Here you will begin to appreciate a love for the disipline of the art as well as learing grace, poise and flexibility. Move your way through various ranks from beginning to intermediate to advanced and eventualy pointe and company classes. |

Tap
This is an American original making fun sounds and rythm patterns with feet. Musicality and precision are taught as well as counting music. As a beginner learn classic steps and work up to harder more stomp style and New York style tap |

Jazz/Hip Hop
Jazz originated from African dance traditions in the early 40's & 50's. It took on a more polished Broadway theater type flare and then in the 90's with a "Hip Hop" flare. At Dance Grosse Ile, we teach traditional classical jazz and mix it up with Hip Hop as well. Jazz is most popular in music videos, commercials and movies. The music in class is always upbeat, popular and current. All music is age appropriate. |

Point / Partnering
Once you attain a certain level in ballet, you will be getting Pointee shoes and along with all the hard woek and dedication comes the beautiful art of partnering and pas de deux. Sone very exciting things to look forward to. |

Hula
We offer Kinder Hula for 4-6 year olds. Hawaiian for 7-9 year olds and Jr. Tahitian for ages 10-12. For 13 year olds and older is our ever popular Tahitian. Learn native dances of the islands with Hula and Hawaiian where every dance tells a Story.

Tahitian is fast paced and exciting, wearing beautiful skirts and head pieces to upbeat drum rhythm.

Adult Classes
Dance Grosse Ile offers adult classes in Ballet, Tap and Jazz for both the experienced and beginners. These classes are ideal for physical fitness, self confidence and an appreciation of dance. For beginers all moves are basic and are taught slowly. For more experienced adult dancers, the class will take on more of an intermediate to advanced tone. |

Musical Theatre is most commonly known for its broaway popularity. It's a blend of dance, music and drama. Students learn how to pantomine song, and include dance and acting combining these three elements to form an outstanding performance. If you love musicals you'll love theater dance!
